From what I was able to recover from old databases, dated before the Nova Datatio, at the birth of Confederations a global agreement was reached to ban fossil [Note: I understand we are speaking about long time ago, but calling them fossil!] fuels.
Within a few months, all population got access to clean and free energy, thanks to the use of clean sources: sun, wind, hydrogen, nuclear (fission and fusion). Now all works with electricity, without anyone having to pay for it. [Note: this thing cannot work... I have to investigate.]
All buildings and, in areas with a high density of inhabitants, even some outdoor area are provided, from that time, of smoke detectors: anyone discovered at threatening the frail ecological balance of our Planet, will be imprisoned and condemned to ecologically relevant jobs.
I fully agree with this approach: why to risk planetary death for ancient barbarism from a time where no alternative was possible? Obviously, if we admit no hidden price is there... |
