The Ouija Board is a small tool used for medianic communication, developed in the mid of 19th century A.D. and become famous in the mid of the 20th century A.D. [Note: Strange object of the previous Age, which I doubt can work]
Its working is neither certain nor reliable, but according to its users it is based on the fact that one of the participants to the séance is a latent or declared medium.
In practice there's a board with carved or print numbers and letters. On this board you place an upturned glass or an arrow-shaped stone (or crystal).
People put their right index finger on the reading object (glass or other) and they ask a question to the Spirit they want to address.
In case this spirit decides to answer the question, it uses the medium to move the reading object over the various letters and numbers, thus composing the answer sentence.
Even S.T.R.I.X. STRONGLY discourages this practice, since it opens a communication channel with the Spirit world and you don't know whether the self-declaring medium is able to close it or not.
