According to few bits of information I was able to put togheter, this invention allowed the miniaturization of most of the aiming and choosing devices.
It essentially consists of a device mounted on a screen border, which is able to feel which point in the screen is observed by the user in front of it.
The recognized area is highlighted and the user can, by simply focusing its look, execute an operation corresponding to press on a touch-screen (in other words select the area).
