[First interpretation from S.T.R.I.X. archives]
This bit of information is quite complex and it refers to ancient knowledge, collected before the Nova Datatio by J. Sams and D. Carson in "Medicine-Cards". [Note: Not sure, but I'm keen to discard the idea it was a collectible cards game]
I still have to investigate and I'm probably far away from understanding the real meaning of what I found, but for now I would say that the Snake is an animal representing with its mute the cycle life-death-rebirth and then the polymorph ability. Its ability to use poison makes it the symbol of Medicine, while that of going down inside the earth represents the ability to search for knowledge.
The one who is protected by the Snake has knowledges to change is looking and to kill its enemies: he is then the perfect East Warrior, this direction is tied to the spiritual dimension, to the passion fire and to the discern ability. |
