This site contains all that is needed to play SvsE, but dice, some paper sheet and... you!!!
All that a player must know is in the Player Handbook (PH). It does not mean that all rules are in this manual. But each rule the player must know in order to play is in the PH.
Few rules have been reserved to Doom Guide (DG). These either refer to events that seldom happen or give the Doom information that player should not have in advance.
Anything else in DG is an information that only Doom must have. If Doom believes players must know something which is explained in DG, he will explain it.
Just as DG, also NPCs Collection and Monsters Manual belong to Doom. These give complete and detailed information on people and other creatures which inhabit SvsE wolrd.
Some Doom does not care if players read this information, but the game is more enjoyable if players do not know everything about their enemies - it increases the sense of discovery and danger for the unknown.
