This spell wreathes the Initiate in flames and cause damage to each creature that attacks her in melee. The flames also protect her from fire-based attacks.
Any creature striking the Initiate with its body or a handheld weapon deals normal damage, but at the same time the attacker takes fire damage.
If the attacker has spell resistance [Note: I didn't know it exists], it takes no damage. Creatures wielding weapons with exceptional reach are not subject to this damage if the attack the Initiate.
When casting this spell, the Initiate appears to immolate herself, but the flames are thin and wispy, giving off a dim light.
The flames are cool to the touch.
As for any Magic, using this spell is taken by Enquire as a severe crime, punished with Annihilation or even death sentence. |
